• In this episode, John talks about the Convention on the Rights of the Child, which was signed by President Bill Clinton in 1995.  This human rights treaty requires state and local government to enforce its provisions within the borders of the United States. John feels that this is not really a treaty protecting the rights of the child, rather it is a treaty that strips parents of the right to raise their children the way they see fit.
